Aquanauts Use Underwater Lab to Save Oceans

There are plenty of dangers plaguing our oceans: Overfishing, temperatures rising from climate change, and pollution among them.

But what is there to do? A team of diver-scientists, dubbed the aquanauts, are working towards a solution. They conduct cutting-edge research at the world’s only underwater lab, Florida International University’s Aquarius.

The team lives there for weeks at a time as they brave unsafe conditions to try to save our oceans.
