The Hollywood Reporter has created a list of standout women who have rocked Hollywood through the creation of groundbreaking TV and films. They have won awards, had historic paydays, and made room for other women to rise up. They also spoke up against the industry’s sexual misconduct scandals. The list includes Bela Bajaria, the vice president of content at Netflix, Sarah Barnett, president and general manager of BBC America, Samantha Bee, Viola Davis, Ava DuVernay, Selena Gomez and more.
