Kevin Gray

Kevin Gray is a freelance journalist specializing in food, drinks and travel, and he's worked as a writer and editor for 15 years. Originally from Dallas, he lived in Austin, New York and Boston before making his way back to Dallas, where he currently resides. After beginning his career in PR, Kevin quickly made the leap to journalism, fueled in part by his appetite for good food and drinks. He joined UrbanDaddy in 2012 as an editor and then senior editor, first running the Dallas edition and then the national food and drink sections for five years, and he also worked as an editor at Liquor.com for two years. As a freelancer, Kevin's work has appeared in publications including The Dallas Morning News, Eater, Forbes, Gear Patrol, GQ, Men's Health, Restaurant Hospitality, Thrillist, Travel & Leisure and VinePair. He's a regular spirits competition judge, and his drinks-related commentary has been featured everywhere from Fast Company to USA Today. Kevin is also an avid traveler, so you're likely to find him on a plane or exploring a new country. He believes that sharing food and drinks is often the best way to learn about people and cultures.
