In running, as in life, boredom is the devil.

This is the opposite of boredom.

Introducing Ragnar Trail Relays: overnight team races under the majestic, star-lit skies of Tahoe, Vail Lake, Zion and the Appalachians, taking signups now.

Crafted by a long-running (ha) relay race organizer, RTRs are 120-mile long jaunts across wildly varied terrain — national parks, lush woodlands, maybe a haunted cabin — that are divided into 24 five-mile legs.

Each teammate will run about 15 miles.

They relays start on Friday evenings and roll through the night (bring a headlamp), finishing between 9am-4pm on Saturday.

When you’re not on the run, you’ll be camping and bonding at Ragnar Village, dubbed “a slumber party without sleep, pillows or deodorant.”

There, you’ll listen to live music, camp out near a bonfire and even cook s’mores.

Team-Building 101: Everyone loves s’mores.
