Domes are the new tiny homes. There, we said it.

Topping our list of geodesic getaways you should be booking in the coming months: Dômes Charlevoix, a mountainside retreat in Quebec with three well-appointed lodgings.

Don’t let the French language website put you off. Once you get to the bookings page, you can switch over to English — and when you do you’ll find that this is not any ol’ slapdash Instagram retreat.

First off, these sleep four people, with two queen beds looking out onto the majestic landscape of the Petite-Rivière-Saint-François region and Saint Lawrence River. There’s also a full kitchen, a luxurious bathroom with a shower, a fireplace, and even a jacuzzi on the private terrace. Don’t worry, the latter is open year-round.

You can book now for around $208 a night. Don’t forget the French phrasebook.
