UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen has healed from a shoulder injury and says he’s eager to return to the field this season — but “don’t get him started” on playing catch-up with class once it’s game time.

“Look, football and school don’t go together. They just don’t,”  Rosen told Bleacher Report. “Trying to do both is like trying to do two full-time jobs. There are guys who have no business being in school, but they’re here because this is the path to the NFL. There’s no other way.”

Rosen went on to say it’s the responsibility of universities making money from college football to help players find balance in their rigorous schedules — not just keep them eligible.

“It’s a crime to not do everything you can to help the people who are making it for those who are spending it.”
