Since stories about and pictures of Jimmy Garoppolo going on a date with porn star Kiara Mia began circulating, the Niners quarterback’s off-field actions have been the talk of the internet.
Man, Lawrence Taylor sure is lucky he played before the invention of the World Wide Web.
Known for being as wild off the gridiron as he was ruthless on it, the retired New York Giants linebacker’s antics are the stuff of legend — and most of them aren’t safe to talk about on TV.
Luckily, Taylor’s former teammate Carl Banks did have an LT tale he was able to tell after being asked about the Jimmy G controversy during a recent appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.
“We have these meetings the night before the game, and everybody’s looking around for LT,” Banks said. “We know he’s in the hotel and he shows up, and he’s got both hands underneath his sweater. Lights are off and we’re watching film, and he kind of crumples to the floor.”
While he was on the ground, there was a metallic noise. Turns out, Taylor was in some kinky cuffs.
“He was handcuffed, the cops didn’t have keys for it, they had to go get a Dallas state trooper to come and get it,” Banks continued. “The cop in the hotel is like, ‘We can’t even get them off.’ But he doesn’t mind us telling that story.”
Note to Garoppolo: Avoid the rough stuff – especially on Sundays.
