NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Signs Contract Extension

There is “nearly unanimous consensus” among the owners to finalize Goodell's extension.

The NFL’s Compensation Committee has informed team owners that a new contract for Commissioner Roger Goodell has been executed, according to NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had worked behind the scenes to delay Goodell’s extension.
