It’s a long way away from Denmark, but something is definitely rotten in Foxborough.

According to a report from NBC Sports Boston’s Mike Giardi, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is making his “planet players” miserable. Giardi then identified those players as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Brady and Gronkowski “don’t feel appreciated for the sacrifice they make,” a source told Giardi, adding that a lot of the unpleasantness at One Patriot Place “ties back to the Alex Guerrero stuff.” Guerrero is Brady’s personal health guru and partner in the quarterback’s TB12 ventures.

The report comes on the heels of prominent Patriots players like Malcolm Butler, Danny Amendola, Nate Solder and Dion Lewis departing for new teams in free agency.

It isn’t all doom and gloom in New England though because Giardi’s source also said it’s still believed that Gronkowski “will play and will be armed with a raise when all is said and done.”

There have been rumors the popular tight end will be leaving the NFL for a career in the WWE.
