NFL Star Takes President to Task Over His Latest Anti-Protest Tweets

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan sacked the president for his latest comments.

Following the NFL preseason kicking off in earnest on Thursday night, President Trump took to Twitter on Friday morning to vent about the handful of players who engaged in some sort of protest during the playing of the national anthem.

While that sequence of events really isn’t anything new at this point, this time around it did have an extra step: an NFL player firing back at Trump.

That player, New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cameron Jordan, went on a Twitter rant of his own where he called the president a “goober” and an “overly insecure prepubescent child.,” among other things.
