As a Christmas present to himself, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones bought himself a superyacht.
The Texas billionaire, who also got a present when the Cowboys won a playoff game over the weekend, reportedly spent about $250 million on the vessel.
The purchase is proof that owning a football team is a good investment because the yacht actually cost $110 million more than the $140 million Jones spent to buy the ‘Boys in 1989.
Now, three decades later, the team is worth $5 billion. Jones, 76, is worth approximately $6.8 billion overall.
Measuring 360 feet long and complete with two helipads, a garage for water vehicles, a gym and a beach club, and more luxurious amenities, the boat is named Bravo Eugenia after Jones’ wife Gene Jones.
“The interior is a sophisticated, elegant, contemporary design that features light maple wood and white pearl lacquer with contrasting accents of walnut and ebony,” according to an Oceanco press release.
