Scottish trials cyclist Danny MacAskill has earned a lot of accolades, sponsorships, and other trophies for his skills—as well as his apparent fearlessness. He definitely tested the latter attribute on The Ridge.
Perhaps the best example of Danny’s determination and grit is on display in The Ridge, a short film in which he bikes Scotland’s notoriously tough Cuillin Ridgeline, known for its rough, black rocks; sharp gullies; and steep cliffs. Though intimidating, the area boasts no shortage of natural beauty. It looks like Mordor in the daytime out there, and the expansive views are almost as impressive as Danny’s tricks and jumps as he bikes his way through the unforgiving terrain.
