Man is a creature of habit.

Get up. Make the bed. Make breakfast. Make money. Call Mom.

Matthieu Ricard — a biochemist turned Buddhist monk — believes that happiness should be one of those habits.

And on October 20th, Ricard will visit from Nepal to host a discussion on how to achieve just that for some 250 New Yorkers in concert with NYC meditation hub The Path and General Assembly.

Ricard is a photographer, author of international bestsellers Happiness and Altruism and confidant of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

He also gave one of the most popular TED talks in history.

Might be a guy worth listening to.

Here’s your chance.

The talk still has a very limited amount of tickets available, some of which include entrance to a special cocktail party or private tea with Ricard himself.

It’s said that karma has no deadline.

This event, however, does. Learn more here.
