The only thing worse than feeling sick enough to visit the doctor is actually having to visit the doctor.

Drive. Park. Wait. Suffer.

It’s a schlep.

But now there’s Heal, an app that sends L.A.’s best doctors straight to your door.

You read that correctly. House calls. Made by doctors. From Cedars, UCLA and Kaiser.

Works like most apps in the on-demand mold: first it geo-locates your position, then it displays all the available whitecoats in your vicinity.

They can treat most urgent care-type visits (bronchitis, ear infections, etc.) and prescribe meds. Soon they’ll be able to draw blood and administer shots.

Right now they have 30 MDs on the roster, and service Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades and Brentwood.

Heal is well-heeled, with support from some giants in the tech and medical industry as well as Lionel Richie.

They don’t take insurance yet, but a visit costs just $99.

It’s worth coughing up.
