From the driving, to the parking, to the not knowing where to drive or park, dinner in L.A. is harder than it should be. That’s why we created Dinner Plan — your three-step itinerary to a damn good time. Here’s your plan.

This dinner plan’s a belt loosener.

Something to do when you’ve got a big appetite, both for food and rabble-rousing.

We begin in the heart of Hollywood — and if Hollywood had anything that could charitably be called a heart, the area on Cahuenga between Hollywood and Sunset would be its aorta.

After dinner, we’ll take a short drive into the center of Koreatown, L.A.’s most vibrant urban hood, where you’ll be hopping between two bars.

The first touts an ’80s-themed karaoke bar from the Good Times at Davey Wayne’s crew.

The second is a hidden club around the corner owned by the same fellas that gave us Seven Grand.

Like eating lots of delicious pork and drinking lots of delicious Scotch?

Like getting very loose, to the point where you feel completely comfortable manning the mic in a karaoke parlor hidden behind a vending machine?

OK. Here we go.
