Blake Little — a bearded cherub if there ever was one — was taking photos, in his studio, of a bearish fellow.

And he thought: the guy’s a bear, why don’t I just give him some honey.

And out of that clichéd thought came some of the most striking photographs you’re likely to see this year: naked people, covered in honey.
