You can do it with a spoon, a butter knife or even an iPhone 5, but the proper way to pop open a bottle of Champagne is with a legitimate sword.

This one is called the Sommelier’s Saber, and it hails from a cutlery workshop in Maniago, Italy. It has a 15.7-inch blade crafted from high-end stainless steel that won’t rust. And if this wasn’t clear already, it’s legit AF.

To use it, buy the saber for its sale price of $110 and then score yourself a bottle of bubbly. Once that’s done, remove the foil from the top of the bottle and then loosen the wire cage over the cork. Next, hold the bottle in your non-dominant hand and use your fingers to find one of the bottle’s seams. Then tilt the bottle away from anything important, put the blade up against the glass at a slight angle and swing the saber up and through the cork, without stopping at the point of impact.

Don’t put your eye out, and pour safely.
