One big dilemma of the contemporary economy:

More urban creatives and freelancers than ever before vs. fewer available urban workspaces than ever before.

One potential solution: Minima Moralia, a compact, modular workspace concept designed by London architects Tomas Boano and Jonas Prišmontas.

The glass structure, which debuted in June at the London Festival of Architecture, is larger than a cubicle but slightly smaller than an office. It can hypothetically be erected in a backyard, on a patio or even on a rooftop.

Painters will have room for an easel. Musicians will have room for a cello. Craftsmen will have room for a circular saw. The internal configurations for shelves, desks, lights and curtains are nearly limitless, and the translucent skin and skylight mean its inhabitants will get plenty of natural light … if not a lot of privacy.
