The thing about deserts is that the light dazzles the landscape 24/7.

It doesn’t matter the time of day: mornings to starlit nights. Even during high noon. If you’re walled up inside, you’ll miss the show.

It’s a benefit of living in the desert Phoenix-based firm The Construction Zones knows all too well, and took into account when building the Barn Guest House

The one bedroom guesthouse is surrounded in floor to ceiling windows so that the occupants can take in all the desert splendor. With Douglas fir ceiling, brushed steel finishes and exposed concrete, they’ll also be doing so in style.

Meanwhile, the path from the main house to the guesthouse leads to an outdoor patio area that includes a jacuzzi and bocce ball court.

Because you can’t stay inside all of the time.
