Who knew that such a giant property could fit on such a tiny island? The Castillo Caribe—”Caribbean Castle”—is touted as one of the finest beachfront estates in the world, and we’re not going to disagree.

Located on the 22-mile-long Grand Cayman, a popular tax neutral haven for the ultra-wealthy, the property leaves no stone unturned when it comes to luxe living. Looking down on the mansion’s 50-foot-high, 5,000-square-foot great room, you might as well be gazing into the foyer of a posh island hotel, with a miniature Caribbean garden accented by palm trees tying the room together. The room also features six chandeliers, a pair of grand staircases, stone walls, and polished Jerusalem Gold floors. The great room even comes with its own grand (player) piano, so you can either tickle the ivories or let them do the honors.

The house’s dining room serves up to 14—or the great room can be converted into an additional dining area, seating 100. An outdoor patio offers alfresco dining, or you can just enjoy a glass of wine out there from one of the 400 bottles in the house’s wine room.

In terms of sleeping arrangements, the Castillo has two master suites—one designed in Balinese style, the other European—which both provide 180-degree views of the Caribbean. If you have a large family and staff in tow, no problem; there are six additional suites available. All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms and showers, and most include walk-in closets.

As for after-hours entertainment, the house comes equipped with a 120-inch-screened home theater. There’s also a giant lounge, with a full Moroccan bar and pool table, as well as a 52-inch TV, if you get sick of movies and want to switch over to SportsCenter. The property even has its own secret grotto, with a hidden hot tub.

Also, be sure to make use of the outdoor tennis courts, gym/spa, and digital golf driving range. Or you can just feel like a kid again (or join your own) in the 4,000-square-foot basement-level playroom. Did we mention there’s a bouncy castle down there? (We can’t make this stuff up.)

The property is listed for $39,950,000 on Sotheby’s International Realty. To contact either of its agents, click here. Check out some more images of the property below, and at the very bottom, take a video tour of it.
