By booking an Airbnb, it goes without saying that you want something different from the humdrum impersonality of the typical hotel experience.

How’s a 91-foot swimmable aquarium sound?

You’ll find that at the “Villa on the Rocks,” a completely bookable, 10,000-square-foot rental in Bandol, France — a seaside town just an hour east of Marseilles.

The pool in question is the standout of the property, sunken into one floor of the house between a living room/bedroom and the patio. But the five bedrooms, eight beds and three bathrooms on a hilltop in the south of France make it covetable even without midnight swan dives to wake up your friends (did we mention the pool is illuminated?).

To top it off, the building was designed by French architect Rudy Ricciotti, who has conceived such buildings as the Mucem Museum in Marseilles.

Right now, the rental is listed for around $697 per night (with a maximum occupancy of six adults and four children suggested). Although, thanks to the above video showcasing the supreme swimability, we’d suggest booking now, before the price goes up.
