To keep tabs on every New York restaurant and bar opening is folly. But to keep tabs on the most worthy? Yeoman’s work, and we’re proud to do it. Thus we present Table Stakes, a monthly rundown of the five (or so) must-know spots that have swung wide their doors in the past thirty (or so). Bon appétit.

Big on everyone’s to-do list this month: eat outside.

And eat outside you shall, because June bequeathed upon our city a fresh infusion of eateries at which to break out the sunblock, order something with a tiny umbrella, and revel in the sun-kissed sublimity that is dining (and imbibing) al fresco.

Tribeca rooftop with Cuban grub and booze-infused slushies? Check.

Triumphant post-fire return of Fort Greene’s favorite patio? Indeed.

A massive backyard hootenanny from the Mr. Sunday crew featuring nary an inch of indoor space? Believe it.

Oh, and because rain may force us indoors for at least one meal, a delectable Franco-Italian spot where you can devour the most decadent hamburger your correspondent has ever had the pleasure of stuffing into his gluttonous face.

So dine on, and drink well.

Enjoy the guide.
