In anticipation for its return this month, Image Comics put together volumes three and four in one stupendous book (Vol. 1 is right here). We had to bring booze to two parties over the holidays. We wanted something festive that would seem “special” to a diverse crowd of drinkers. So we threw a so-so rye we wanted to give up into A&I’s jars with their dried-ingredient pack (dehydrated oranges with mulled spices), waited a week, and ended up with a deliciously infused whiskey that worked great on the rocks (even for our vodka-only drinkers). — Kirk Miller, Managing Editor
