Grab the nearest Mr. or Mrs. Smith.

Because this date plan is going to require two parties who are willing and able to engage in some covert ops.

In store: an immersive, adrenaline-packed visit to SPYSCAPE, a new NYC museum dedicated to the art of espionage.

Plus: Bond-worthy threads, a limited-time Daniel Boulud culinary affair and a fanciful new dram spot serving up ace cocktails that might as well be truth serums.

GET READY
Shoot for somewhere in between “fly under the radar” and “if looks could kill” like so.

Initially launched in November, Eataly’s guest series is a six-month run of limited-time collaborations with a rotating cast of all-star chefs. This month, Chef Adam Hill of Manzo teams up with the Boulud Sud crew. The evening features a Squid Ink Campanelle with House-made Bucatini, La Quercia Nduja, Clams and Savoy Cabbage. To boot, a percentage of the proceeds from the evening go to Citymeals on Wheels. Everyone wins. Reservations right here.

GO UNDERCOVER
One part covert ops history lesson, one part actual covert ops, SPYSCAPE is an immersive new museum dedicated to all things espionage. The experience will force you to complete tasks involving risk tolerance, intelligence, surveillance skills and agility — i.e., literally darting through laser tunnels. Sneakers advised. Along the way, you’ll survey artifacts and historical documents on everything from WWII spy catchers to modern-day, teen-aged CIA hackers. At the culmination of it all, you’ll be sized up and given a spy profile. (Call us if you need a codebreaker.) While some of the activities are slightly juvenile, others are certainly adult-caliber challenging. All make for solid out-of-the-box date fun.

GET A DRINK
Nestled in the new Freehand New York Hotel, the George Washington Bar is another little slice of history that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Among their state-of-the-art cocktails: a Corpse Reviver made with a 12-year Chivas MVP, cold brew, palm sugar and vanilla cream.
