It’s opening a few weeks after Friday the 13th, but The Row, which hits theaters today, is sure to inspire some chills.
It remains to be seen whether those chills will be caused by the film being legitimately creepy or legitimately awful but given the cast, we’re more than willing to give it a shot.
The Row is a sorority slasher film that looks like it will conjure up memories of Scream 2, The House On Sorority Row, and Killer Party. The cast includes actresses with experience cracking jokes, cracking skulls, and killing it — but not each other — on Instagram.
Directed by Matty Beckerman and written by Sarah Scougal, the movie’s synopsis is: “A college freshman trying to get into a sorority discovers a dark secret about the house she’s pledging for after a series of murders terrorize the campus,” because in horror movies, college campuses are always hotbeds for horrific homicide.

After watching that, we’re sure you’ll be there opening night. Just in case you’re not convinced, here are six of The Row’s cast members you should know.
Name: Mia Rose Frampton
Character: Becks
Her Deal: The daughter of Peter Frampton, Rose Frampton was born in Nashville and has been working as an actress on both stage and screen since moving to Los Angeles. A singer and guitarist who started taking ballet at age five and also has a flair for comedy, Rose Frampton’s mother was a former Playboy bunny.
Name: Lala Kent
Character: Riley Cole
Her Deal: A reality star who has been on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules since 2015 and is known for being the hostess at SUR on the show, Kent only started her actual acting career recently. A Salt Lake City native, Kent also has her own beauty line.
Name: Sarah McDaniel
Character: Isabel
Her Deal: The cover girl of Playboy‘s first non-nude issue in March of 2016 (a gig she got thanks to her social media prowess), McDaniel is known for having one brown eye and one blue eye thanks to a condition called heterochromia iridum. Though she claims it is real and she was born with it, some contend she simply wears a blue contact.
Name: Lexi Atkins
Character: Ana
Her Deal: A former Miss Illinois USA, Atkins is probably best known for appearing in Ted 2. A regular at dance class and school musicals while growing up, Atkins is an extreme health nut who calls herself a homebody and would prefer a night in with a glass of wine to a night out a the club with a cocktail.
Name: Kathryn Le
Character: Sasha
Her Deal: An LA native, Le has a Master’s degree in counseling from Loyola and also studied theater at UCLA. An accomplished model who has also done some work as a comedian, Le started her acting career doing commercials.
Name: Malea Rose
Character: Captain Ellingham
Her Deal: A native of Hawaii, Rose used to compete in surfing, singing, and once hosted her own local radio show. Now a veteran actress with tons of TV credits under her belt (Entourage, New Girl, Two and a Half Men) and some writing experience to boot, Rose is also a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade.
