Donald Trump’s tweets are often unscripted, but a confusing typo made for some lighthearted humor on social media.

Early Wednesday morning, President Trump sent out an unfinished tweet that seemed to be complaining about the press. The now-infamous post said “Despite the constant negative covfefe [sic]”—the word “covfefe” most likely meant to say “coverage.”

Mashable reports the misspelled Twitter post has since been deleted, but it was live long enough for “covfefe” to start trending on the social media platform. Users became extremely creative playing around with the typo—many jokingly speculated if there was some hidden meaning behind it.

The U.S president was a good sport about his social media gaffe, playing it off smoothly by spurring on the mystery surrounding the bizarre-sounding typo. He posted about the error later Wednesday.

Regardless, “covfefe” is already infamous. By press time, “covefefe.com” was reportedly purchased and t-shirts plastered with the word being sold.
