Artist Rocky Byun, from South Korea, has made an art form out of defying gravity—or rather finding how to take objects and make them into an artistic balancing act. “I love to take on challenges that look impossible,” he told Great Big Story.
The self-described “balance artist” kicked off his career in 2005, creating artsy cairns—or rocks balanced on top of one another. He’s since moved on to include mobile phones, pieces of fruit, chairs, and even motorcycles—anything that he can balance and wow his audience with.
