With colder temps comes panic: what’s my winter time dining plan? If there’s no patio, what does one do? Can you self tan with a heat lamp?

We don’t advise that.

But we do advise this: for liver-tickling cocktails and hearty eats in a warm and rustic spot — with dashes of Gilded Age filigree — you should hunker down, downtown, at The Parish.

The Parish is basically your go-to couples date spot this season.

Opened in July, it’s a two-floor, wedge-shaped space lit by Edison bulbs. And yes, there is a heat lamp’d terrace.

You’ll want to start with some cocktails at the bar, overseen by John Coltharp (nee Seven Grand). His Popeye-strong cocktails include standbys like the Fresh Gin Gimlet (for her) or the Black Bee (for you).

After the bar: Chef Casey Lane (Tasting Kitchen) just began offering a Bishops Roast — a belly-warming feast of a whole rotisserie bird, plus Country Ratatouille, and a growler of Black Market Beer for $75.

Or hit their can’t-miss standbys, especially the Deviled Eggs. And the Chopped Kale. And the Pork Head Pot Pie.

As for parking? The Parish offers a valet lot.

And for post-dinner plans, head two miles east to the Baz Luhrmann-esque Villains Tavern for their live, ragtimish music. You can park on-site, but with cocktails this serious, car sharing service Uber may be a wise option.

Because a night in the clink ain’t cozy.

Nota bene: Parish just started serving lunch, too. For some afternoon delight, check out their new menu.
