Going Brogue

By The Editors

Gentlemen, look to your feet.

We’re about to gussy ‘em up.

Introducing Boga, Chicago peddlers of fine menswear and leather goods, just launched.

Boga focuses on the simple, classic and casual.

Their brogues, which your correspondent is coveting at the moment, are natty and well-made.

On the roster:

The Fulton: A short wing available in tan or blue, fit for an evening in the West Loop or a hard day’s work.

The Astor Double-Monk: A fetching take on the buckled brogan. Round toe makes it easier to sport.

Both are made in Spain from Italian calfskin. Both are hand-burnished. Both look good with anything, from a gray suit to a lived-in pair of jeans.

Plus they’ve got the belts to match.

While Boga’s stock is available online, expect a showroom lounge and retail space within the next month.
