No way. Not a chance, glass bicycle.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s no doubt this thing is handsome.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Salone Satellite — a high-minded home goods tradeshow in Milan — design house Adriano crafted this transparent, bull-looking exercise bike. Coined “Freeride,” the exercise bike is built of glass, wood and steel with a slot meant to hold a tablet.

It’s meant to be an object of desire, but also a practical device to ride.

Coveted, yes. It’s the practical part i’m still wrapping my head around.

But Adriano design seems has a penchant for the dramatic having also created a glass pool table, ping-pong table and glass foosball tables. They’re apparently just in the business of creating lovely things I’m certain to destroy.
