As part of their Women’s History Month campaign, Lyft is offering free rides up to $10 in 37 American and Canadian cities, to a list of designated monuments, memorials, museums, and small businesses all associated with or run by women.

Included in the selection of “discounted” designations is the National First Ladies’ Library outside Cleveland, the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Dallas, and yes — the Denver Cat Company. But there are nearly 150 sites in total, ranging from the Harriet Tubman Memorial (also know as Swing Low, erected in 2007 a few blocks east of Columbia University) to 4J Brewing (a Houston-based microbrewery run by four sisters named Jackie, Jessica, Joanna and Jennifer).

A complete list of the eligible spots, plus promo codes for each is listed here. While that deal only works once, these places aren’t going anywhere … in fact, some are National Historic Sites. We suggest using Lyft’s list, then, as a sort of field trip syllabus going forward. As we come up on the centennial of women’s suffrage in this country (the f*cking Oreo has been around longer than woman have been allowed to vote!), we can all stand to edify ourselves on the sacrifices, contributions and creations of America women.
