Apex Yachts is making a splash with its inaugural boat, Apex 60. The company’s philosophy is oriented towards creating the best experience in a smaller package, and its first offering certainly delivers on this promise. The 60-foot boat, billed as a “tender”—something used to ferry people or cargo to and from a larger ship—could easily act as a day cruiser from your superyacht, given its size and sleek look.

The superbly designed deck layout and beautifully appointed interior is spacious, stylish and highly functional, catering to your every need whether for a relaxing day on the water or a party (Apex Yachts)

Epitomizing this unique blend of performance and elegant design, the Apex 60 has the sharp lines of a sports car or fighter jet with the performance to back it up. The tender was designed by an international team of Italian naval architects and German designers. Housed in an elegant and aggressively sporty exterior, the boat is powered by triple inboard Volvo Penta IPS engines capable of reaching a max speed of 40 knots. Improved fuel consumption, cruising range, noise-reducing engine housing, and underwater exhaust provide for an exceptional experience.

Between the spacious upper deck and sumptuous interior, there’s room for 12 guests and a pair of crew members. Guests can relax on sun beds in the bow and stern, which also houses a flexible dining area. Below deck, the Apex 60 has a lounge, guest bathroom, and full galley complete with an ensuite bathroom and shower for the owner.

In an effort to bring the “big yacht” experience to a smaller package, the Apex 60 comes ready with luxurious yet practical features tucked away into the innovative design. These include a fully automated foot bridge, plug-in standing shower pole, submarine anchor system, kitchenette that doubles as a captain’s seat rest, and an integrated waterproof touchscreen control interface with a solar PV battery backup.

Equipped for a day trip along the shoreline or an evening cocktail cruise on the lake with friends, owners will have flexibility without sacrificing functionality.

Though the Apex 60 is available in a standard premium model, as well as for bespoke customization, the boat’s builder have yet to list a price for either version.
