Nowhere is the notion of keeping up with the Joneses truer than the automotive world.

It should come as no surprise, then, that on the heels of an announcement that Jaguar Land Rover will be hosting an Arctic Circle driving experience this winter, McLaren is now doing the same damn thing. Only with seriously beefier rides.

Taking place 200 miles into the Arctic Circle in northern Finland from January 15th to February 3rd, the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience will give customers the chance to hone their winter driving skills under the watchful eyes of a team of professional driving coaches.

Set across more than 60 miles of almost permanently frozen roads and trails at the Test World testing facility in Ivalo, the experience will use the McLaren 570S Coupé as its exclusive vehicle.

In addition to the ice- and snow-driving program, the Pure McLaren experience will include a husky safari, snowmobile expedition and a stellar opportunity to view the Northern Lights.

The trip includes accommodations at the Jávri Lodge — the former home of Finnish President Urho Kekkonen — as well as sauna access, chauffeured airport transfers and all meals.

Three-night packages (which include a minimum of 3.5 hours of driving a day) within the allotted time frame start at around $15,000 per person for groups of up to 14, and you can book ‘em here.

Steer into the skid, bubba.
