And the best bargains these days are coming from Norwegian Air, who will begin offering weekly one-way flights from JFK, LAX and Fort Lauderdale to Charles de Gaulle Airport for as little as $175, tax included.
Earlier this year, they announced their intentions to bring $69 transatlantic flights to U.S. soil by 2017. The company, which wants to expand on the 38 routes it already offers to the U.S., plans to use Boeing 787 Dreamliners on all of its Paris flights.
“We see great potential and demand for our transatlantic service and we will continue to offer customers more direct flights and more affordable fares from additional cities both in the U.S. and Europe,” says Norwegian CEO Bjørn Kjos.
