Truly amazing travel experiences?

There really aren’t that many.

New York City at dawn — as its delivery guys and yoga devotees can tell you — is spectacular: rosy-colored, peaceful, intimate.

The best places to see it? A cab on the FDR, Battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry, and 1000 other places.

But there’s a new spot that’s going to shoot straight to the top of the list: the Empire State Building.

The iconic skyscraper’s observation tower is one of the city’s top attractions — but until now, it’s never been open for the sunrise.

Tickets are now onsale (and at the moment, available) for a new, predawn opening — but move fast, because only 100 are available per day, and viewings will only go through November 20.

Mental Floss points out that the latest/most convenient session will see dawn at 7:32 a.m. on November 5 … immediatley before Daylight Savings Time begins.

Hop to it
