Tina Fey Has a New Suggestion on Protesting After Charlottesville

University of Virginia alum Tina Fey joined weekend update to react to the violence that occurred in Charlottesville last weekend, and talk about how further protests.

Fey said that there are more neo-Nazi protests planned for cities across the nation this weekend, including New York, and that a lot of people are probably feeling anxious.

“What can I do? I am just one person,” Fey asks the crowd. She urges people this Saturday to instead of participating in the screaming matches and violence, to find a local business, order a cake with the American flag on it, and just eat it and scream all your emotions into the cake — like the anger you feel because peaceful Standing Rock protestors were hit with rubber bullets but the Klansmen walked down the street with no issue.

And when you start to feel powerless? Dip a grilled cheese into the cake.
