Singles Day is a shopping day in China to ostensibly celebrate the single life … but really acts as an early take on Black Friday (a record-setting one at that). Now a lot of American brands are getting in on the action, possibly because it sounds better and more appropriate than “Veterans Day sale.”
One of the better Singles Day deals comes courtesy of Greats, the direct-to-consumer sneaker brand. The Brooklyn-based company (with shoes designed in the U.S. and handcrafted in Italy) is offering 20% off kicks with the code SINGLES2019 through end of day.
Given that the wares here are naturally discounted — no middleman jacking up the price — this sale is an ideal time to pick up some fancier shoes. Single or not.
