There’s a reason Converse’s silhouettes have gone largely unchanged over the decades: they’re the white T-shirt of tennis shoes, more or less impervious to the notion of ‘trendiness.’
But when they do update their styles — or introduce new ones — it tends to be for the best.
To wit: the new ‘Triple C’ collection, a collab with Converse, and Club 75. Launched to align with 20-year anniversary and Club 75’s second birthday, the three sneaks are a nod to the French flag (note: they’ll work equally well for any upcoming America-themed holidays).
There’s a classic One Star in blue and two ’70s-style Chuck Taylors in red and white. Each has a set of removable Velcro anniversary patches created specifically for Cons by French graphic artist So Me, as well as special and Club 75 embroidery.
The collection launches online on June 23 at all three outlets, and in-stores the following day. C’est .
