This isn’t quite Deflategate, but Gisele Bündchen may have thrown her husband Tom Brady into the thick of another football-related controversy.

In an interview today (May 17) with CBS This Morning‘s Charlie Rose, the supermodel slipped, saying that Brady had played with a concussion last season. “He had a concussion last year. He has concussions pretty much every …” she tells Rose, trailing off. “I mean, we don’t talk about it. But he does have concussions. I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for anybody to go through.”

As the Associated Press notes, the New England Patriots star quarterback did sit out the first four games of last season for the Deflategate controversy, but was never listed on the concussion/head injury list, which is now a league requirement.

Of course, a seemingly healthy Brady went on to win Super Bowl LI in dramatic fashion.

Neither the NFL, New England Patriots, nor Brady’s agent have yet commented to the press on Bündchen’s comments.
