When you think “downhill mountain biking,” what’s the first image that pops into your mind? A verdant hill, dotted with mud-flecked athletes careening down the side, lives flashing before your eyes. Well, that’s certainly one type.

Another has a more adventurous angle—one that marries that type of reckless abandon with an international passport. And the folks at Red Bull always seem to find a way to break new ground, no matter where in the world it may be.

In the video below, Red Bull star and pro mountain biker Kyle Jameson leads a pack of masked ruffians as they shred their way through Namibia, Africa. Some of their destinations include the Goanikontes Oasis in the Naukluft desert and the sand dunes of the forebodingly named Skeleton Coast. Watch the epic rides below.
