Bus a Move

As any smug Googler looking down his Borg spectacles can tell you, there aren’t many things better than a clean bus with WiFi.

So leave the rabble to their Muni shelters and schizophrenia and hop on Leap Transit, a new WiFi-equipped, $6 shuttle alternative to the Marina and FiDi bridging 30X, now accepting passengers.

Leap’s inaugural Chestnut Express runs during the biz-friendly hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and rolls swiftly from Divis to The Embarcadero without stopping in the bummy hinterlands of Van Ness and Sansome.

Inside: no pickers with bags of pungent recycling. No shiftless dudes with twitchy hands fishing uncomfortably deep in pockets. No puddles sloshing with every stop.

Just other riders like yourself, who’ve all bought their tickets courtesy of Leap’s iPhone booking system.

But should you be unaccustomed to such pleasant surroundings, don’t worry: once you’ve returned to the hardscrabble streets, there are still mounds of garbage.

Also known as the poor man’s Mountain View.
