Margaret Leng Tan might have an adult music degree, but she still likes to play with toy instruments. Tiny ones.
According to Great Big Story, Tan, who was the first woman to graduate with a doctorate from the Julliard School, has become a toy piano virtuoso. “I have transformed the toy piano into a real instrument,” explained Tan. She says that in order to get good on the toy version, you have to practice as much as you might on a normal-sized one.
