Rapper Kendrick Lamar has released a new single, entitled “The Heart Part 4,” from a yet-untitled forthcoming album. According to Consequence of Sound, it’s part of a long-running series of like-themed singles, dating back to the earliest part of Lamar’s career. The last episode, “The Heart Part 3,” was released in 2012.
In the song, Lamar drops two nuggets: One, a barb at President Donald Trump, rhyming “Trump” with “chump” (listen to the full verse below); the other, a possible street-date for his latest album: April 7.
Lamar’s last album, To Pimp a Butterfly, was released in 2015.
