As someone who literally couldn’t figure out how to leave O’Hare Airport during a recent trip — it took ten minutes to locate my proper baggage claim because, hey, who needs accurate signs? —TripIt’s come up with a solution.
More specifically, the travel itinerary app will show you the direct route from security to your gate, as well as the best way to get to your connecting flight, estimated walking times, important locations (charging stations, food, etc.). All you gotta do is punch your intinerary in and the airport maps will be available to you.
Available in 51 airports, the feature is sadly only available to paid TripIt Pro customers — but hey, they have a 30-day free trial if you just need to use it once or twice.
However, if you’re an iPhone user, you could just wait: iOS 11 will feature airport floorplans in Apple Maps.
