Walker, drive or bike, you likely enjoy listening to some tunes while you get around town.

In order to make that even easier to accomplish, JBL has created a versatile speaker system that can improve the audio experience within your car as well as provide one outside of it.

A hybrid audio device that can function as an attached car subwoofer or detached Bluetooth speaker, JBL’s BassPro Go delivers deep bass performance and features customizable EQ settings. Simple to dock and unlock without any tools, the waterproof gadget provides up to 15 hours of playback when operating as a sound system and can be controlled wirelessly by three users.

“With its dual functionalities, consumers get a quality subwoofer system to enhance their in-car audio system with the added convenience of doubling as an exceptional portable speaker, ready for outside use,” said Jeffery Fay, VP of car audio aftermarket at JBL parent company Harman.

The BassPro — which also has a USB port for charging other devices — will retail for $600.
