A new Netflix documentary Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond shows never-before-seen footage of comedian Jim Carrey transforming into his idol, Andy Kaufman, in 1999’s Man on the Moon. The trailer is spliced between sit-down interviews with Carrey — who insists he became Kaufman while filming — and footage of his eccentric, enigmatic and frankly frightening approach to perfectly portraying the late entertainer.
