Sonic Youth

By The Editors

The ’60s and ’70s … now those were fascinating times.

For shaggy facial hair and brown turtlenecks, sure.

But really: for culture.

Dirty Harry. The Stones. Easy Rider. No irony or meta anything there.

Just cool.

All documented before, but never documented like this: in very limited-edition prints by Sonic Editions, available now.

Purveyors of fine art prints, SE’s new collection is a collab with Freemans Sporting Club, the NYC champion of old-world craftsmanship and bespoke tailoring.

Nominally a tie-in to their spring/summer wardrobe, the FSC prints are, for all intents and purposes, a slice of retro awesomeness.

Some favorites:

All framed, starting at about $199.

Besides the Freemans prints, Sonic Editions curates a number of other worthwhile collections, like this month’s Michael Caine round-up, a selection of classic hip-hop pics and even (somewhat) inspirational quotes from The Economist.

All picture perfect stuff. For any era.
