Flowers. We’re talking about flowers.

What She Really Wants

Maybe you’re the kind of guy who had his Valentine’s Day planned by New Year’s Eve.

But we’re guessing you’re not. And that you need this:

Cupid’s Bodega, a last-minute pop-up featuring some truly jaw-dropping bouquets from The Petaler, opening tomorrow.

This is not your everyday, droopy Safeway flora.

You may know The Petaler from owner Rebekah Northway’s flower vann — a floral version of a food truck.

Her arrangements eschew tired standards like carnations for seasonal blooms like ranunculus, anemones and jasmine vines.

Basically, if Ryan Gosling took a moment away from restoring Rachel McAdams’s house in The Notebook to give her some flowers, they’d be from The Petaler.

So: tomorrow and Friday from noon to 8 P.M., Northway will be selling her arrangements at Cupid’s Bodega alongside jewelry from S.F. designers Spark + Pepper and cards from letterpress designer Lilikoi. Consider it a one-stop-shop for all your V-Day needs.

If you can’t make it to Duboce Triangle, Northway’s taking phone orders for delivery within city limits until her list fills.

Get going, loverboy.

And remember that red roses on Valentine’s Day are like a turkey sandwich on Thanksgiving:

Boring old leftovers.
