As Jack “Winnebago Man” Rebney might say, this Winnebago Brave is simply f*cking amazing.
Customized by the Ringbrothers, the 1972 “Happy Camper” Winnebago Brave is a mobile tiki lounge that’s been refitted with everything from neon bar signs and a pizza oven to WWII-era gauges and bomber seats.
Dubbed the “World’s Fastest Winnebago,” the 900-HP custom camper is powered by a supercharged 408-cubic-inch Wegner LS mated to a 4L80 transmission that can blast the mobile mancave from 0-50 in three seconds.
“We had a blast doing it,” Jim Ring told The Detroit News. “At the end of the day, we had more fun with it than probably any car we’ve ever done.”
We’re sorry to say that the Happy Camper is spoken for, but there’s still an opportunity to check it out when the brothers take it to the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas, which starts on November 1st.
There’s also reason to hold out hope that a followup model is on the way, as the appearance will include “a preview of one of the most unique build projects the Ringbrothers have undertaken.”
