This time, technology hasn’t worked out so well for Uber CEO Travis Kalanick.

In a dash-cam video obtained by Bloomberg, the executive can be heard arguing with his Uber Black driver, Fawzi Kamel, during a ride he took on Super Bowl Sunday. The driver, who Bloomberg noted has driven for Uber since 2011, provided the dash-cam video to the publication “… to draw attention to the plight of Uber drivers” over falling fares.

Kalanick has since apologized in a company-wide email, writing, “To say that I am ashamed is an extreme understatement. My job as your leader is to lead…and that starts with behaving in a way that makes us all proud. That is not what I did, and it cannot be explained away.”
